ROBOTICS FIELD NOTESREVIEW EDITION / 8 October 2026
EDITORIAL METHOD

Keep the source beside the claim.

A robot result needs its conditions.

Sources and observations

Use original research, organizer notices and manufacturer documents wherever available. Government portals sometimes republish reporting. Source notes identify those cases. Manufacturer specifications remain manufacturer claims.

Record the object, task, hardware version, control mode and trial count when the source provides them. Keep an unknown field visible when it does not. Do not infer autonomy from the absence of a visible controller.

Dates and changing information

Keep the event date, source date, publication date and verification date separate. A source check does not change the original publication date. Record corrections in the article history.

Human review

Content can be a draft, await review or be approved. AI-assisted research and writing require a human publication decision. A source check alone does not count as that review.

Commercial content

Label a paid partnership beside the article. Mark paid links with the sponsored attribute. Never describe an order as a delivery or describe an exhibition appearance as a customer deployment without evidence.

Media

The graphics in this edition are original editorial illustrations made from shapes and text. They are not photographs of robots or experiments. Third-party photographs and videos require permission or a suitable licence before reuse.

Corrections

Corrections identify the statement that changed and record the date in the article history. The updates page collects those records. A source check and a content change have separate dates.

Include the page address, the statement in question and a supporting source in your note. Prepare a correction message.
